and the ones we’re still creating.

A small table.
Good food.
Space to sit a little longer.

Biscuits in the middle.
Everything else just finds its place around them.

This kind of table?
It’s meant for staying a little longer than planned.

Low heat. Olive oil. Garlic. Herbs.
And suddenly they’re doing the most.

Soft. Jammy. A little messy.

The kind of thing you didn’t plan on making… but now you’re proud you did.

Fresh tomatoes are cute.
This? This is where I start acting different.

Also… let’s be honest.
This is ending up on a biscuit.

No warning. No hesitation.
Butter. Flour. Heat.
And suddenly the kitchen is full of “whatchu cookin’” energy.

I’ve made them enough times now that I know the moment—when cold butter starts turning into something that looks like it might actually work out.

Pat. Fold. Pat again. Fold again.
Like the dough is remembering itself.
They go into the oven looking quiet.
They come out like they’ve got something to prove.
Golden tops. Soft centers. Butter melting into every edge.
